My needling technique is very gentle, with the patient often not even feeling the insertion of the needle.
    I use Seirin needles, manufactured in Japan.  These are sterile, single-use, and individually packaged needles.  The Seirins are very smooth and have a reputation for being "painless."  My standard size is the #5, which is 0.25mm in diameter.  For sensitive patients I will use #3's, which are 0.22mm in diameter.
